Upgrade HV-01 Hard Drives, Part Three

Well that's surprising. The migration ultimately failed due to it not being able to find one of the files. That seems less than ideal to be honest. Well while I'm checking on things I decide to turn on VM-01. VM-01 fails to start though. "Virtual machine could not be started because the hypervisor is not running." That's very interesting.

When I try to start the HV Host Service on HV-01 I receive the error "Error 31: A device attached to the system is not functioning." Why do I now have a bad feeling that there was something on that old 1TB drive that I can't change or move easily?

After a few reboots and attempts to restart services I am able to get the HV Host Service running and I can turn on VM-01. But man does it load very, very slowly. I start the VM-02 migration to Y: a second time. The migration immediately goes to 11% complete.

Coming back later in the day it is still at 11%. It looks like it will probably fail again. Perhaps I can try a migration to another server then back?
