SnipeIT, Part Four

So I have maybe touched this software for just a couple of hours. It is absolutely fantastic! If I was in an enterprise environment in need of inventory management I would spin this up in a heartbeat. It is amazing and exactly what every IT department needs to be using. The one caveat is that it takes a lot of time and effort to configure and get going at the start. I had thought about using it to notate all of our household possessions for insurance purposes in SnipeIT but I would end up spending just way too much time configuring it and managing it instead of actually documenting our possessions. I had stumbled across another open source software called Homebox that is more pointed towards inventorying your home which I think I will check out. I'm going to decommission SnipeIT and SNIPE-01 to free up those resources.
